Accountant (Practical / Mid-Level)

📍 Location:

Khalda – Amman (On-site only)

🕘 Working Hours:

Full-time | Sunday–Thursday | 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

💰 Compensation: 400 JOD + Social Security + Health Insurance

A well-established accounting and tax advisory firm in Jordan (operating since 2013) is seeking a hands-on Accountant to join its team in Khalda – Amman.

This role is designed for professionals with solid practical accounting experience who are looking for stability, real exposure, and long-term development within a structured professional firm.

This is not a managerial or supervisory role.

🎯 Who This Role Is For (Read Carefully)

This position is suitable only for candidates who meet all of the following:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (mandatory – no other majors will be considered)

 3 years of practical accounting experience, including:

Daily bookkeeping

Journal entries

Bank and account reconciliations

Preparation of monthly financial reports

Previous experience in accounting or tax consulting firms is strongly preferred

Good working knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel

Basic to intermediate understanding of Jordanian tax and VAT requirements

Professional communication skills in Arabic (English is an advantage)

Based in Amman only – applications from outside Amman will not be considered

🚫 This role is not suitable for:

Fresh graduates or trainees

Candidates with less than 3 years of experience

Candidates with more than 4–5 years of experience seeking senior, managerial, or high-salary roles

Applicants from non-accounting backgrounds

Remote or hybrid work seekers

🧩 Key Responsibilities

Perform daily bookkeeping and accurate journal entries

Conduct bank and account reconciliations

Prepare monthly financial reports and supporting schedules

Assist in VAT filings and tax compliance tasks

Coordinate with clients regarding required documents and deadlines

Support internal and external audit processes
