Procurements and Logistics Officer

We are seeking a" Procurements and Logistics Officer" to join the team of an engineering company specialized in the trading and contracting of engineering equipment and the execution of projects. 

-Preparing Procurement Packages in conjunction with the tender and project 

teams, receiving and evaluating offers, advising on Best and most reliable offer, negotiating and preparing downstream contracts.

-Updating procurement status reviews in order to proactively inform project management.

-Securing synergies with other tenders and projects and investigate opportunities for incorporating specific purchasing packages into framework agreements.

-Pre-qualification and auditing of suppliers.

-Coordinate with foreign suppliers on production, shipping, delivery, payment, customs and so on.

-Coordinate with accounting to issue and pay through transfers, LCs, CAD etc.

-Keeping track of shipments and delivery times

-Coordinate with forwarders and clearance companies to ensure fulfilling the

-contractual delivery term and delivering the material to agreed destinations .

Qualifications & Requirements

-Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, International Business , industrial engineering or any related field.

-4-6years’ experience in logistics, shipping, payments and commercial functions and procurement from Intl. suppliers. Preferably Industrial Projects Experience 

-Excellent negotiation, follow-up and communication skills.

-Supply chain management knowledge
