We’re Hiring: System Engineer (Network & Security)

Overview

We are looking for a skilled System Engineer (2–5 yrs) to support, maintain, and optimize IT systems and security solutions at customer sites.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, solid networking & security knowledge, and the ability to manage enterprise-grade solutions ensuring stability, availability, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the first technical contact, handling daily system & network support.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues for servers, endpoints, and firewalls.

• Configure, deploy, and optimize firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco).

• Support endpoint protection, antimalware, and email/web gateways.

• Conduct log analysis, system monitoring, and incident investigations.

• Manage network infrastructure (switches, routers, VLANs, DHCP, NAT, DNS).

• Maintain technical documentation (diagrams, configs, records).

• Collaborate with IT teams and escalate issues when required.

• Support system upgrades, patching, and security updates.

• Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related.

• 2–5 yrs in system/network engineering or IT infrastructure support.

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, DHCP, DNS, NAT, L2/L3 switching.

• Hands-on with:

 • Firewalls: Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA

 • Endpoint Protection: Bitdefender, FortiClient, Symantec

 • IPS/IDS, WAF, VPN

• Familiar with log analysis and SIEM tools (plus).

• Excellent troubleshooting & communication skills.

• Preferred certs: CCNA, NSE4, PCNSA (or equivalent).
